In fire fighting, “multi detectors” refer to fire detection devices that incorporate multiple sensing technologies within a single unit. These advanced detectors combine different methods of fire detection to enhance accuracy and reliability in identifying the presence of a fire.
Multi detectors typically integrate two or more of the following fire detection technologies:
